2009 Post (January - August)

Plan to update soon. I figure once or twice a year is all you can expect from me right now until I really get used to/ into this. You can also see more at http://sites.google.com/a/goldmail.etsu.edu/mary-sult/home ( a site I've had to put together for one of my classes).

Catching up!

As I've taken some time over the past couple of days to focus on my future, I've also had a few thoughts about how distant I've become with some of the most important people from my past. It's really kind of sad. The people who have helped me get where I am somehow have fallen by the wayside and most of them I haven't communicated with (much less seen) in years. Hopefully this will keep some of us in touch (I'll try to write about once a month)

I'm so glad that I made the extra effort to make some unexpected visits to some old friends over the 2008 holidays (and yes, I know I didn't get to everyone).

Anyway, for those of you out there wondering what I've been up to:

From 1998-2007 I lived in High Point, NC with my dad.

In 2003 I graduated from high school and my dad & step-mom had a son (my half-brother), Landon James Sult. What a handful! I love/miss him so much! He's in Kindergarten this year. Wow they grow up so fast...

While in college I lived at home for 2 years, and then moved to a local apartment with a high school classmate for the final 2 years.

I graduated from High Point University with B.S. in Athletic Training in 2007.

I am currently working in Spartanburg, SC as a Certified Athletic Trainer for Wofford College. I'm in my second year working as an intern and looking to go back to grad school next year for a master's degree.

In my time at Wofford I've met a lot of people, and learned so much by working with the men's soccer team, men's/women's basketball teams, and track and field teams. I've even been able to work with several youth camps for summer employment. I've gone on many trips to places all over the U.S. and seen many colleges/universities/cities I would never had a reason to see otherwise. I've traveled to all the SoCon schools (except Samford, or newest member) and many non-conference locations such as Nevada (Las Vegas Tournament), Wisconsin (Madison), Indiana (West Lafayette), Arkansas (Fayetteville), Alabama (Tuscaloosa), Florida (Orlando, Jacksonville, Saint Augustine, Daytona Beach) and Virginia (Harrisonburg, Lexington).

I passed my national certication in May of 2008!

My sister, Crystal, is a sophomore at UNCG and thinks she is going to major in business.
